Mumbai: The grand muhurat ceremony of the upcoming web series Mahashmashan was held in Mumbai in the presence of veteran actress Deepika Chikhalia, fondly remembered as ‘Sita’ from the iconic television show Ramayan. The actress extended her best wishes to the entire team and said that the title itself creates curiosity and raises expectations for the series. She also praised STAGE for producing quality regional content.
Writer-producer Dheeraj Mishra shared that the story revolves around cremation grounds and the emotional struggles and unseen realities faced by the people associated with them. The 15-episode series is being produced as a STAGE Original and is expected to premiere in the last week of June.

Producer Ishika Mishra and director Raja Randeep Giri revealed that the shooting will begin in Mumbai by the end of May. The series features Kunal Singh Rajput, Golu Tiwari, Prashant Rai, Pari Singh, Gaurav Upadhyay, and Zeeshan Khan in key roles. Members of the STAGE OTT team, including Amar Dubey and Dharmendra Singh, were also present at the event.

मुंबई: मुंबई में एक अलग और गंभीर विषय पर आधारित वेब सीरीज ‘महाश्मशान’ का भव्य मुहूर्त संपन्न हुआ, जिसकी खास बात रही कि इसका शुभारंभ टीवी की प्रतिष्ठित ‘सीता’ और अभिनेत्री दीपिका चिखलिया के हाथों हुआ। इस मौके पर उन्होंने पूरी टीम को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि सिर्फ इसका शीर्षक ही दर्शकों के भीतर जिज्ञासा और उम्मीद जगाता है। उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय भाषा में लगातार बेहतरीन कंटेंट प्रस्तुत कर रहे स्टेज की भी सराहना की।

लेखक-निर्माता धीरज मिश्रा ने बताया कि यह कहानी श्मशान घाट और वहां काम करने वाले लोगों की जिंदगी, संघर्ष और उनके भीतर चल रही भावनात्मक उथल-पुथल पर आधारित है। 15 एपिसोड की यह सीरीज स्टेज ओरिजिनल के लिए बनाई जा रही है, जिसका प्रसारण जून के अंतिम सप्ताह से होने की संभावना है।

निर्मात्री इशिका मिश्रा और निर्देशक Raja रणदीप गिरी ने बताया कि मई के अंत से मुंबई में इसकी शूटिंग शुरू होगी। सीरीज में कुणाल सिंह राजपूत , गोलू तिवारी , प्रशांत राय, परी सिंह , गौरव उपाध्याय और ज़ीशान खान मुख्य भूमिकाओं में नजर आएंगे। कार्यक्रम में स्टेज ओटीटी टीम से अमर दुबे और धर्मेंद्र सिंह भी मौजूद
