जोड़ों से लेकर रीढ़ की बीमारियों तक, मुंबई में मरीजों को मिलेगी विशेषज्ञ देखभाल

Mumbai: Whether it is joint pain, spinal problems, or sports-related injuries, timely specialist treatment and proper care can make a significant difference in a patient’s quality of life. With this vision, Nivam Orthopedics and Surya Hospitals have partnered to develop a network of specialized orthopedic centres across Mumbai.

Founded by orthopedic surgeons Dr. Nilen Shah and Dr. Manan Shah, Nivam Orthopedics has already commenced operations at its centres in Santacruz and Chembur. The formal inauguration of its flagship centre in Santacruz is planned for Dussehra. A new centre in Kandivali is expected to become operational by the end of this year, followed by plans to expand into South Mumbai.

The centres will offer a range of advanced orthopedic services, including joint replacement, complex and revision surgeries, robotic-assisted procedures, and minimally invasive surgery. Patients will have access to comprehensive care, covering everything from diagnosis and treatment to surgery, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation.

The initiative will also prioritize non-surgical treatment options, with surgical intervention recommended only when medically necessary. This approach aims to ensure that patients receive appropriate, personalized care based on their individual medical needs.

Dr. Bhupendra S. Awasthi, Founder-Chairman and Managing Director of Surya Hospitals, said, “Our aim is to make orthopedic services more accessible to people through this partnership and support patients at every stage of their treatment and recovery.”

The initiative could mark a significant step towards making specialized bone and joint care more accessible to patients across Mumbai, while strengthening the continuum of orthopedic treatment, from diagnosis and advanced surgical procedures to rehabilitation and recovery.

मुंबई : जोड़ों का दर्द हो, रीढ़ की समस्या या खेल के दौरान लगी चोट, सही समय पर विशेषज्ञ उपचार और उचित देखभाल मरीज की जिंदगी को नई दिशा दे सकती है। इसी सोच के साथ निवम ऑर्थोपेडिक्स और सूर्या हॉस्पिटल्स ने साझेदारी की है, जिसके तहत मुंबई में विशेष ऑर्थोपेडिक सेंटरों का नेटवर्क विकसित किया जाएगा।

ऑर्थोपेडिक सर्जन डॉ. निलेन शाह और डॉ. मनन शाह द्वारा स्थापित निवम ऑर्थोपेडिक्स के सांताक्रूज और चेंबूर केंद्रों में काम शुरू हो चुका है। सांताक्रूज स्थित फ्लैगशिप सेंटर का औपचारिक उद्घाटन दशहरे पर प्रस्तावित है। कांदिवली में इस साल के अंत तक नया सेंटर शुरू होने की उम्मीद है, जबकि इसके बाद दक्षिण मुंबई में भी विस्तार की योजना है।

इन केंद्रों पर जॉइंट रिप्लेसमेंट, जटिल और रिवीजन सर्जरी, रोबोटिक-असिस्टेड प्रक्रियाओं तथा मिनिमली इनवेसिव सर्जरी जैसी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी। मरीजों को जांच और उपचार से लेकर सर्जरी, फिजियोथेरेपी और रिहैबिलिटेशन तक समग्र देखभाल मिलेगी। साथ ही, गैर-सर्जिकल उपचार को भी प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी और सर्जरी की सलाह केवल चिकित्सकीय जरूरत के आधार पर दी जाएगी।
