Dr. Wasim Ahmad delivers Lectures as NCISM Certified Master Trainer at NIS, Chennai

Dr. Wasim Ahmad, Principal State Unani Medical College, Prayagraj and Dean, Unani Faculty, Ayush University, Gorakhpur, delivered two lectures on 27.08.2024 at National Institute of Siddha, Chennai, during a National Workshop on “Scientific Writing, Research Integrity and Publication Ethics” held on August 26-28, 2024, organized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi and hosted by National Institute of Siddha, Chennai. The event aimed to enhance the research and publication skills of educators and mentors in Unani, Ayurveda, and Siddha.As an NCISM-certified master trainer, Dr. Wasim delivered comprehensive lectures on “Reporting Guidelines for Various Types of Research Studies” and “Writing a Review: Narrative Review/ Systematic Review and a Brief Idea about Meta Analysis”.His contributions were essential to the NCISM’s PG Guide Orientation and Capacity Building Program, which seeks to equip mentor teachers in the ASU systems of medicine with the necessary expertise to conduct and publish high-quality, original research, thereby bolstering the evidence base for Indian medicine.
