New Delhi: Border Security Force (BSF) is celebrating its 60th foundation day. On this occasion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and many other leaders have congratulated the BSF personnel on the social media platform X. Rahul Gandhi wrote on the social media platform X, "On BSF Foundation Day, I heartily congratulate and salute all the brave personnel who protect the borders of our country. Your unwavering commitment, courage, service and sacrifice inspire us every day. Jai Hind." Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote on X post, "Border Security Force (BSF) stands as our first line of defense. We heartily salute the brave women and men of BSF, who protect the borders of our country in the most challenging circumstances. As a nation, we are always grateful and proud of your unwavering courage, remarkable sacrifice, determination and extraordinary bravery." At the same time, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote on Xpost, "Hearty greetings to all the soldiers and officers of the force on the foundation day of the Border Security Force, the vigilant sentinel of the nation's borders. The BSF has played an incomparable role in strengthening the country during war and peace times. By being posted in the inaccessible, challenging and remote areas of the country, the BSF soldiers have proved to be synonymous with devotion to duty. Today, on the BSF Foundation Day, tributes to those brave martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation while performing their duty." BSF Foundation Day is celebrated on December 1 because the military unit responsible for protecting India's land border during peace time and dealing with international crime was established on this day in 1965. The world's largest border security force BSF protects India's 6,386.36 km long international borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. The BSF takes the responsibility of protecting these borders on its shoulders.
नई दिल्ली:सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) अपना 60वां स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है। इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी, कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे समते तमाम नेताओं ने सोशल मीडिया मंच एक्स पर बीएसएफ कर्मियों को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। राहुल गांधी ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर लिखा, “बीएसएफ स्थापना दिवस पर मैं सभी बहादुर कर्मियों को हार्दिक बधाई देता हूं और उन्हें सलाम करता हूं, जो हमारे देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हैं। आपकी अटूट प्रतिबद्धता, साहस, सेवा और बलिदान हमें हर दिन प्रेरित करते हैं। जय हिन्द।” कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने एक्स पोस्ट पर लिखा, “सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) हमारी रक्षा की पहली पंक्ति के रूप में खड़ा है। हम बीएसएफ की बहादुर महिलाओं और पुरुषों को दिल से सलाम करते हैं, जो सबसे चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थितियों में हमारे देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हैं। एक राष्ट्र के रूप में हम आपके अटूट साहस, उल्लेखनीय बलिदान, दृढ़ संकल्प और असाधारण वीरता पर सदैव आभारी और गर्व महसूस करते हैं।” वहीं लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला ने एक्स पोस्ट पर लिखा, “राष्ट्र की सीमाओं के सजग प्रहरी सीमा सुरक्षा बल के स्थापना दिवस पर बल के सभी जवानों और अधिकारियों का हार्दिक अभिवादन। युद्ध और शांति काल के दौरान देश को सुदृढ़ बनाने में बीएसएफ ने अतुलनीय भूमिका निभाई है। देश के दुर्गम, चुनौतीपूर्ण और दूरदराज इलाकों में तैनात रहकर बीएसएफ के जवान कर्तव्यनिष्ठा के पर्याय सिद्ध हुए हैं। आज बीएसएफ स्थापना दिवस पर उन बहादुर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि, जिन्होंने कर्तव्य पालन करते हुए राष्ट्र के लिए सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया।” बीएसएफ स्थापना दिवस 1 दिसंबर को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि शांति काल के दौरान भारत की भूमि सीमा की रक्षा करने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय अपराध से निपटने के लिए जिम्मेदार सैन्य इकाई की स्थापना 1965 में इसी दिन की गई थी। दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा सीमा सुरक्षा बल बीएसएफ पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश के साथ भारत की 6,386.36 किलोमीटर लंबी अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमाओं की रक्षा करता है। बीएसएफ इन सीमाओं की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी अपने कंधों पर उठाती है।
