Azamgarh News: Villagers express anger over illegal soil mining, uproar after child’s death in accident

Azamgarh. A 12-year-old boy died in a tragic road accident on Sunday in Yusufpur (Rupyanpur) village, located in the Maharajganj police station area of the district. The boy died on the spot after being hit by a tractor-trolley loaded with soil. The incident caused widespread dismay among family members, while villagers expressed widespread anger. According to reports, Aditya Nishad (12), son of the late Nishad, was riding his bicycle on the roadside in front of his house when a speeding tractor-trolley carrying soil crushed him. The accident was so horrific that the boy died on the spot. Upon receiving news of the incident, a large number of villagers gathered at the scene. The deceased’s mother fainted upon seeing her son’s body. The family is inconsolable. Villagers allege that soil mining and the operation of overloaded tractor-trolleys have been rampant in the area for a long time, but the administration has been ignoring them.
