स्व,परशुराम टावरे स्टेडीयम बना मीना बाजार
Bhiwandi - The only playground of Bhiwandi city, Late Parshuram Dhondu Taware Stadium, is now being made a victim of commercial events by crushing the hard work of local children and players and the sentiments of sports lovers. The municipal administration has allowed setting up of *Meena Bazaar* in this stadium for 5 days. This is the same ground which was built for sports lovers in the memory of former MLA Late Parshuram Taware. There is a lot of anger among sports lovers and local citizens due to this decision. They say that this ground is already not able to meet the basic needs of the players. Now organizing Meena Bazaar will not only disrupt the practice of the players, but the condition of the ground will also go from bad to worse. Swings, food stalls and other temporary shops will be set up in the Meena Bazaar. Citizens say that this will spoil the surface of the ground and it will be difficult to keep it suitable for sports in future. "This stadium is for the practice and matches of the players, not for commercial events. The administration is wasting the hard work of the players," a local sports lover expressed his displeasure. There is a possibility of a huge crowd gathering during the Meena Bazaar, but no concrete plan has been made regarding safety measures. There are no crowd control arrangements. There may be a risk of arson and accidents. The ground surface and greenery will be damaged. Last year also a complaint was lodged regarding setting up of Meena Bazaar on this ground. Then the Assistant Commissioner of Division Committee No. 4 had taken action against the organizers. Despite this, giving permission for the event again this time raises questions on the working style of the administration. Bhiwandi already lacks sports facilities. In such a situation, commercial use of the stadium can destroy the possibilities of players and sports culture. Sports lovers have questioned Municipal Commissioner Ajay Vaidya whether this ground made for players should not be respected? "We demand that the organization of Meena Bazaar be stopped immediately. If this does not happen, we will be forced to agitate," warned a local citizen. After all, is this stadium for players or for traders? This question is now echoing in the mind of every Bhiwandi resident.

भिवंडी – भिवंडी शहर एकलौता खेल का मैदान स्व.परशुराम धोंडू टावरे स्टेडियम जो स्थानीय बच्चों व खिलाड़ियों की मेहनत और खेल प्रेमियों की भावनाओं को कुचलकर अब उसे व्यावसायिक आयोजन का शिकार बनाया जा रहा है। नगरपालिका प्रशासन ने इस स्टेडियम में ५ दिन के लिए *मीना बाजार* लगाने की अनुमति दी है। यह वही मैदान है जिसे पूर्व विधायक स्व.परशुराम टावरे की स्मृति में खेल प्रेमियों के लिए निर्मित किया था। इस फैसले से खेल प्रेमियों और स्थानीय नागरिकों में भारी आक्रोश है।उनका कहना है कि पहले ही यह मैदान खिलाड़ियों की बुनियादी जरूरतों को पूरा नहीं कर पा रहा है। अब मीना बाजार के आयोजन से न केवल खिलाड़ियों की प्रैक्टिस बाधित होगी, बल्कि मैदान की हालत भी बद से बदतर हो जाएगी। मीना बाजार के आयोजन में झूले, खाने-पीने की स्टॉल और अन्य अस्थायी दुकानें लगाई जाएंगी। नागरिकों का कहना है कि इससे मैदान की सतह खराब हो जाएगी और भविष्य में इसे खेल के लायक बनाए रखना मुश्किल होगा। “यह स्टेडियम खिलाड़ियों के अभ्यास और मैच के लिए है, न कि व्यावसायिक आयोजनों के लिए। प्रशासन खिलाड़ियों की मेहनत पर पानी फेर रहा है,” एक स्थानीय खेल प्रेमी ने नाराजगी जाहिर की। मीना बाजार के दौरान भारी भीड़ जुटने की संभावना है, लेकिन सुरक्षा उपायों को लेकर कोई ठोस योजना नहीं बनाई गई है। भीड़ नियंत्रण के इंतजाम नहीं। आगजनी और दुर्घटनाओं का खतरा हो सकता है। वही पर मैदान की सतह और हरियाली को नुकसान होगा।
पिछले वर्ष भी इस मैदान पर मीना बाजार लगाने को लेकर शिकायत दर्ज हुई थी। तब प्रभाग समिति क्रमांक 4 के सहायक आयुक्त ने आयोजकों पर कार्रवाई की थी। बावजूद इसके, इस बार फिर आयोजन की अनुमति देना प्रशासन की कार्यशैली पर सवाल खड़े करता है।भिवंडी में खेल सुविधाओं की पहले से ही कमी है। ऐसे में स्टेडियम का व्यावसायिक उपयोग खिलाड़ियों की संभावनाओं और खेल संस्कृति को खत्म कर सकता है।पालिका आयुक्त अजय वैद्य से खेल प्रेमियों ने सवाल किया है कि क्या खिलाड़ियों के लिए बने इस मैदान का सम्मान नहीं होना चाहिए ? “हम मांग करते हैं कि मीना बाजार के आयोजन पर तुरंत रोक लगाई जाए। अगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ, तो हमें आंदोलन के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ेगा,” एक स्थानीय नागरिक ने चेतावनी दी। आखिर यह स्टेडियम खिलाड़ियों के लिए है या व्यापारियों के लिए ? यह सवाल अब हर भिवंडीवासी के मन में गूंज रहा है।
