आजमगढ़:25हज़ार घूस लेते रंगेहाथों गिरफ्तार हुआ ग्राम विकास अधिकारी

आजमगढ़ जनपद के ब्लाक मुहम्मदपुर के कमरावां गांव के ग्राम प्रधान से 25 हजार रुपये बतौर घूस लेते ग्राम विकास अधिकारी को एंटी करप्शन टीम ने शुक्रवार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। ग्राम विकास अधिकारी को गंभीरपुर थाना पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया गया।पुलिस मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर आरोपी को जेल भेजने की तैयारी में जुटी है(A village development officer was arrested by an anti-corruption team for taking Rs 25,000 as bribe from the village headman of Kamrawan village in Muhammadpur block of Azamgarh district on Friday. The village development officer was handed over to Gambhirpur police station. Police have registered a case and are preparing to send the accused to jail. Shashikant, the village development officer, had demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from Kamarawan village headman Arif in exchange for the money spent on development works in the village. The village headman was very upset with the exercise of the village development officer. He complained to the Anti-Corruption Team Gorakhpur. The anti-corruption team planned to catch the village development officer red-handed, the team reached the district on Friday. The team reached Kamarwan village after taking two responsible persons as witnesses from the district. The village development officer was called to collect the money under the scheme. As soon as Gram Vikas Adhikari Shashikant took the money from Gram Pradhan Arif, the anti-corruption team caught him red-handed.The team then took him to Gambhirpur police station where a case was registered against the Gram Vikas Adhikari. Shashikant, the village development officer caught taking bribe, is originally a resident of Daulatpur village in Mehnagar block. He was posted as Gram Vikas Officer in Mohammadpur block. He was presently in charge of Kamranwa village. SO Gambhirpur Swatantra Kumar Singh said that the anti-corruption team has registered a case on the basis of the letter and issued a challan to the Gram Vikas Officer)कमरावां गांव के प्रधान आरिफ से ग्राम विकास अधिकारी शशिकांत ने गांव में हुए विकास कार्यो में खर्च हुए धनराशि के एवज में 25 हजार की रिश्वत मांगी थी। ग्राम विकास अधिकारी के इस कवायद से ग्राम प्रधान काफी परेशान था। उसने इसकी शिकायत एंटी करप्शन टीम गोरखपुर से की। एंटी करप्शन टीम ने ग्राम विकास अधिकारी को रंगेहाथ पकड़ने की योजना बनाई,इसके तहत टीम शुक्रवार को जिले में पहुंची। जिले से गवाह के रूप में दो जिम्मेदारों को साथ लेने के बाद टीम कमरवां गांव पहुंच गई। गांव में ही ग्राम विकास अधिकारी को योजना के तहत पैसा लेने के लिए बुलाया गया था। ग्राम प्रधान आरिफ से जैसे ही ग्राम विकास अधिकारी शशिकांत ने पैसा लिया, वैसे ही एंटी करप्शन की टीम ने उसे रंगेहाथ पकड़ लिया।इसके बाद टीम उसे लेकर गंभीरपुर थाने पर पहुंची जहां ग्राम विकास अधिकारी के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कराया गया। घूस लेते पकड़ा गया ग्राम विकास अधिकारी शशिकांत मूलरूप से मेंहनगर ब्लाक के दौलतपुर गांव का निवासी है। उसकी तैनाती मोहम्मदपुर ब्लॉक में ग्राम विकास अधिकारी पर थी। वर्तमान में वह कमरांवा गांव के चार्ज में था। एसओ गंभीरपुर स्वतंत्र कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि एंटी करप्शन टीम पत्र के आधार पर मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर ग्राम विकास अधिकारी का चालान कर दिया गया है।
