3 lakh 92 thousand stolen from traders in Azamgarh

Azamgarh. 3 lakh 92 thousand rupees was looted near Bada Ganesh temple along with Chandan Aggarwal, resident of Gilas Pattal, resident of Katra Mohalla, under Badarka police post of Shahr Kotwali police station area. The victim, Chandan, said that the robbery took place when the Kotwali match was held at a distance of about 150 steps from the Ganesh temple when the bank had gone out to deposit money. Let us tell you that after this incident, sensation spread in the area. On the information, the police team reached the spot and started the investigation, but the big question is how the culprits escaped. The police are not afraid of carrying out the robbery at a short distance from Kotwali.The fearless miscreants looted money from a card dealer at a distance of about two hundred meters from Nagar Kotwali on Wednesday afternoon and absconded from the spot. When the incident was reported, there was a stir in the police department. All the officers including SP Hemraj Meena reached the spot and started investigation. Chandan Aggarwal, a resident of Purani Sabzi Mandi in Nagar Kotwali area, owns a shop called Pattal Dona etc. On Wednesday afternoon, he went out to deposit three lakh 92 thousand rupees in the bank. He kept the money in black polythene and put it in his jacket.

As he went ahead of the big Ganesh temple, suddenly two miscreants came on a bike and stopped his bike. After this, one of the miscreants sat on the back of his bike and took him down the hill leading to Kolghat. He snatched the money kept from them and absconded towards Kolghat on a bike with his companions. Chandan informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information about the robbery, police officers along with the city kotwali reached the spot. He inspected the spot. Chandan Aggarwal said that the miscreant sitting behind his bike had harassed him. After snatching the money, the miscreants threw the keys of the bike into the nearby drain and absconded. SP Hemraj Meena said that we reached the spot after receiving the instructions. The incident site has been inspected. Teams have been deployed to investigate the incident. It is being supervised by me. Action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light.
