Azamgarh: Two house builders killed in collision with truck, bike dragged for 200 meters

Azamgarh: A speeding truck collided with a bike near Haluadih village of Sidhari. Two Rajgirs riding a bike died on the spot. The bike kept dragging for 200 meters. On getting the information about the incident, the villagers got angry and blocked the Mehnagar-Chatwara road. CO City Gaurav Sharma and Sidhari police station head Virendra Verma reached the spot and took the truck into custody. He explained the villagers and ended the jam. Meanwhile, vehicular traffic was affected for about an hour. Ramnaresh Rajbhar (40), a resident of Shahbajpur village in Sidhari, used to work for Rajgir. He was going to Atraulia area with Omprakash Rajbhar (25) of the village on a bike at three o’clock on Sunday evening. Ramnaresh had reached near Haluadih village, two km away from home, when a speeding truck coming from Matcha collided with him. Both were crushed to death by the truck. At the same time, his bike got stuck in the truck and dragged him about 200 meters away. Seeing the incident, the truck driver left the truck and ran away. However, the police later caught him. The people of the village came to the road after being informed about the incident. Wheel jammed on Menhnagar-Chatwara road. CO City Gaurav Sharma My Force reached the spot after getting the information. He explained the villagers and ended the jam. The jam ended after one hour. After this, the movement of vehicles started on the road. The police sent both the bodies for post-mortem. Ramnaresh was the father of three daughters and two sons. At the same time, Omprakash was the youngest of two brothers.
