आजमगढ़।कलेक्ट्रेट के रिक्शा स्टैंड में गले में जंजीर पहनकर वाहन चालकों ने किया प्रदर्शन

A unique dharna was held by drivers against the harassment of drivers at Azamgarh district headquarters on Tuesday under the auspices of Commercial Drivers Ekta Society and Vahan Chalak Kalyan Sangathan Uttar Pradesh at the rickshaw stand of the Collectorate. In which the national president of the drivers, Suresh Chand Yadav, wearing a chain around his neck, demonstrated to the District Magistrate’s office with a two-pronged demand for the interests of the drivers. After which the drivers have submitted a memorandum to the central and state government to the district administration. National President Suresh Chand Yadav said that the rights of our drivers are being violated, our future is in danger, today the drivers of all India are in the chains of slavery. Every day drivers are harassed by police, traffic police, transport department and traders, all kinds of incidents happen with our drivers in the society. Drivers have informed the government about the demand of Driver Commission and Driver Welfare Board, but the government has not paid any attention. During today’s chain demonstration, the district administration has released the chain and assured that the demands of the drivers will be conveyed to the central and state governments. They said that if our demands are not met even after this, then we will be forced to hold a protest against drivers leaving the steering wheel across the country, which will be the responsibility of the government administration. During this time, National President Shailesh Pathak, National Manager Arvind Yadav, Surendra Yadav, Santosh Rajbhar, Mahendra Jaiswar, Madan Prajapati, Ramdarsh ​​Yadav, Yogendra Gautam, Brijesh Yadav, Arvind Kumar, Ganesh and a large number of drivers were present.

आजमगढ़। कलेक्ट्रेट के रिक्शा स्टैंड में व्यावसायिक ड्राइवर एकता सोसाइटी व वाहन चालक कल्याण संगठन उत्तर प्रदेश के तत्वधान में मंगलवार को आजमगढ़ जिला मुख्यालय पर ड्राइवरो के उत्पीड़न के विरुद्ध ड्राइवरों का एक अनोखा धरना प्रदर्शन हुआ। जिसमें ड्राइवरों के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुरेश चंद यादव ने गले में जंजीर पहनकर जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय तक ड्राइवर हितों में दो सूत्रीय मांगो को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। जिसके बाद ड्राइवरों ने केंद्र व प्रदेश सरकार को नामित ज्ञापन जिला प्रशासन को सौंपा है। राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुरेश चंद यादव ने कहा कि हम ड्राइवरों के अधिकारों का हनन हो रहा है, हमारा भविष्य खतरे में है, आज मेरी तरह ही पूरे भारत का ड्राइवर गुलामी की जंजीरों में जकड़ा हुआ है। आए दिन ड्राइवरों को पुलिस, ट्रैफिक पुलिस, परिवहन विभाग और व्यापारियों द्वारा प्रताड़ित किया जाता है, समाज में हम ड्राइवरों के साथ तमाम घटनाए घटित होती रहती है। ड्राइवरों द्वारा पहले भी ड्राइवर आयोग और ड्राइवर वेलफेयर बोर्ड की मांग को लेकर सरकार को अवगत कराया गया है लेकिन सरकार ने ध्यान तक नहीं दिया। आज के इस जंजीर प्रदर्शन के दौरान जिला प्रशासन ने जंजीर से आजाद कर आश्वस्त किया है कि ड्राइवरों की मांगों से केंद्र व प्रदेश सरकार को अवगत करा दिया जाएगा।कहा कि यदि इसके बाद भी हमारी मांगे पूरी नहीं हुई तो देश भर में हम ड्राइवर स्टेयरिंग छोड़ो आंदोलन करने को बाध्य होंगे जिसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी शासन प्रशासन की होगी। इस दौरान राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष शैलेश पाठक, राष्ट्रीय प्रबंधक अरविंद यादव, सुरेंद्र यादव, संतोष राजभर, महेंद्र जायसवार, मदन प्रजापति, रामदरश यादव, योगेन्द्र गौतम, बृजेश यादव, अरविंद कुमार, गणेश सहित बड़ी संख्या में ड्राइवर मौजूद रहे।
