When asked about Shannon joining the tour, Kumar Sanu shared, “It started when my audience was constantly asking about Shannon and how they enjoy her English songs. So my promotion and I decided to get her onboard for 2 shows and see how it goes. The way audiences showered love on Shannon when she performed English songs, I realized that USA, Canada and UK audiences listen to both English and Hindi music. Shannon added freshness and value to my ’90s setup, and her ability to sing ’90s songs in a pop style brought modern energy while respecting the emotion of the originals.”
