जिलाधिकारी ने विजेताओं को किया सम्मानित
Deoria. A workshop was organized in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium on Monday on the conclusion of HIV/AIDS awareness week. Awareness programs and preventive measures were discussed in this workshop chaired by District Magistrate Mrs. Divya Mittal. The District Magistrate also honored the winners of various competitions organized under the awareness campaign. Addressing the program, the District Magistrate said that HIV/AIDS is a serious disease, but it can be avoided by taking correct information and precautions. He said, the purpose of this workshop is not only to make people aware, but also to remove the myths related to HIV/AIDS. Our effort is that the youth become aware and bring change in the society. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Rajesh Jha said that under this time's theme, children of 167 HIV infected mothers were saved from HIV infection in the district. He said that free facility of HIV testing and treatment is available in the district. During the program, the CMO said that poster competitions, seminars, and street plays were organized in various schools and colleges to increase awareness. Through these programs, children and youth were sensitized towards HIV/AIDS. The winning participants in the workshop were honored with mementos. In the program, the Tuberculosis Officer said that the employees of Panchayati Raj, ICDS, Education and Health Department were sensitized in the awareness campaign. These departments together played an important role in spreading awareness. During this, CDO Pratyush Pandey, DPM Poonam, Upendra Dutt Tiwari, CMS Dr. HK Mishra and many other officers and employees were present.

देवरिया। एचआईवी/एड्स जागरूकता सप्ताहफ के समापन पर सोमवार को विकास भवन सभागार में एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।जिलाधिकारी श्रीमती दिव्या मित्तल की अध्यक्षता में हुई इस कार्यशाला में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम एवं बचाव के उपायों पर चर्चा की गई। जिलाधिकारी ने जागरूकता अभियान के तहत आयोजित विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि एचआईवी/एड्स एक गंभीर बीमारी है, लेकिन सही जानकारी और सावधानी बरतकर इससे बचा जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा, इस कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य केवल लोगों को जागरूक करना ही नहीं, बल्कि एचआईवी/एड्स से जुड़े मिथकों को भी दूर करना है। हमारा प्रयास है कि युवा जागरूक होकर समाज में बदलाव लाएं।मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी (सीएमओ) डॉ. राजेश झा ने बताया कि इस बार की थीम के तहत जनपद में 167 एचआईवी संक्रमित माताओं के बच्चों को एचआईवी संक्रमण से बचाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले में एचआईवी जांच और इलाज की मुफ्त सुविधा उपलब्ध है।कार्यक्रम के दौरान सीएमओ ने बताया कि जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए विभिन्न विद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता, संगोष्ठी, और नुक्कड़ नाटकों का आयोजन किया गया। इन कार्यक्रमों के जरिए बच्चों और युवाओं को एचआईवी/एड्स के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाया गया। कार्यशाला में विजेता प्रतिभागियों को मोमेंटो देकर सम्मानित किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में क्षय रोग अधिकारी ने बताया कि जागरूकता अभियान में पंचायती राज, आईसीडीएस, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के कर्मचारियों का संवेदीकरण किया गया। इन विभागों ने मिलकर जागरूकता फैलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई।
इस दौरान सीडीओ प्रत्यूष पाण्डेय, डीपीएम पूनम, उपेंद्र दत्त तिवारी, सीएमएस डॉ. एचके मिश्रा सहित कई अधिकारी और कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।
