Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge held a press conference on Wednesday regarding this issue. During this he targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that Ambedkar is revered by the entire country, but PM Modi defended the Home Minister. Amit Shah should be removed from the post of minister.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “These people do not believe in the Constitution. They talk about Manusmriti. PM Modi posted six posts in defense of Amit Shah. What did he need? If someone is wrong about Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Kehta hai, he should give the results to the cabinet, but they are supporting each other.”

Kharge further said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah said something during the discussion in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, which is reprehensible. It is our country’s misfortune that a Dalit hero, whom everyone worships, has been insulted.”

He demanded an apology from Amit Shah. He said, “Our demand is that Amit Shah should apologize and if PM Modi trusts Baba Saheb Ambedkar then he should sack Shah. He has no right to stay in the cabinet, he should be sacked, only then people They will remain silent, they will not protest. The people of the country are ready to sacrifice their lives for BR Ambedkar.”

Mallikarjun Kharge questioned PM Modi and said, “He talks about the Constitution as sacred. However, he has never honored it. This Constitution was burnt in Ramlila Ground. He also rejected the tricolor. He took Nehru Gandhi even burnt pictures and insulted the tricolor.”

He said that Amit Shah said that if people take Ambedkar’s name as many times as God’s name, you will get heaven for seven lives. People of BJP-RSS do not respect the Constitution. These people are the people who believe in Manusmriti, because it is written about heaven, hell and castes.
